I was born and raised in South Carolina, the only child of blue collar parents who grew up in the Great Depression. I lived in Buffalo, NY, for eight years before moving to San Francisco in 1996. In my 5+ decades, I've experienced marriage and divorce, become a father, lost my mother and father. I've gone through periods of drift and periods of focus. My time as a therapist has brought me a rare degree of focus and fulfillment.
